They can be stacked, nestled and balanced. Will you make horizontal or vertical patterns? Perhaps you will stack and carefully balance them into magical looking towers. Can you make sequences using different colours or positioning the arches in different directions? They could be made into tunnels or transformed into magical bridges. Try them with light devices or see their effects with the projector as the colours and patterns emerge on walls. Younger children will grasp them, rock them and perhaps use them in their symbolic play. We observed them being used as telephones and exciting conversation were being had.
