Product Description
Environments earlySTEM Size Sorting Tower
The Size Sorting Tower fosters the development of early math skills through comparing, contrasting, and problem solving. Made of solid wood for durability with attractive natural finish and contrasting opaque stain. Tower may be used vertically or horizontally for new perspectives; pieces are self-correcting, so kids know they have successfully solved the challenge.
DEVELOPS STEM SKILLS OF REASONING, LOGIC, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING: Understanding measurement connects geometry and numbers, two critical domains of early mathematics. As children compare and contrast the 5 different pieces to solve the puzzle, they learn to identify and describe relationships between objects.
DIFFERENT ORIENTATIONS AND SELF-CORRECTING: The Tower may be placed vertically or horizontally for a new perspective and flipped around to challenge kids to sort form small to large, or large to small. Kids will love the challenge of inserting all 5 pieces into the slots; pieces are self-correcting so kids will experience the thrill of their success.
DEVELOPS SPATIAL AWARENESS: Use the specially-sized blocks to link early math exploration with vocabulary development. Kids can arrange the blocks from tall to short, narrow to wide, find the thinnest block, and investigate spatial relations by placing blocks next to, on top of, or behind others.
DURABLE SOLID WOOD CONSTRUCTION: The Tower (4 inches x 6-1/2 inches x 1-3/4 inches) and corresponding pieces are made of solid wood for years of use. Smallest block measures 1-1/2 inches x 1-1/2 inches x 2 inches and largest measures 3 inches x 2 inches x 1/2 inch.

I love shopping here
I love shopping here for unique and interesting birthday presents. They offer free wrapping for gifts and the associate that helped me did a fantastic job of wrapping odd shaped items. She really took pride in the work she was doing.

Great for teachers
Great selection of educational toys, tools and books for kids. Great for teachers and parents alike. Staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. It could use a paintjob, it felt a bit like a warehouse with the bare walls and minimal colour.
