This environment unit is designed to help preschoolers and primary children learn ways in which they can help their environment. These activities have been created to give the children a positive attitude towards their environment and encourage them to take an active role in understanding and implementing the 4 R's: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Refuse. It is important to avoid burdening young children with all the world's problems, while helping them to build respect for our environment.
