We explore the historical and connect to the present through interviews and pictures. Our publication has been compared to a cross between National Geographic and Time Magazine. Each volume includes an entire section of the vessel of the culture. In volume 1 we review the history of the birch bark canoe and then record the building and launching of a traditional canoe. Each volume has an ancient story, (many of which have never been in print before) Each volume has teachings about food, harvesting and living well with the land and each other.
