Ishtar is the founder of Over the past 10 years she has worked with young children with autism and their families. She has also worked in community programs aimed at helping children with anger issues cope with their feelings. Most recently, she has dedicated her time and energy to providing terminally ill clients and their families with emotional support and has helped navigate them through community services and resources. As the mother of 2 spirited children, she often wondered how parents of young children coped and managed this huge transition, especially with very little resources and services offered in the community. So in response to the cries, screams and gasps of her fellow parents she along with her colleagues developed parentEASY. Ishtar has a honours psychology degree from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Science degree in Family Dynamics and Child Development from the University of Guelph. She resides in Hamilton, Ontario with her 2 spirited children and husband.
