Oversize, Large and Extra Large Products
There are items available for purchase within our store that are unusually large, heavy or awkwardly shaped. Shipping companies charge additional fees to move these goods and storage/movement within our warehouse is more expensive.
In order to offer these items it is necessary to charge an additional oversize fee. An additional fee of 7.5% will be charged for an oversize item, 12.5% will be charged for each large item and extra large items will be charged an additional 17.5%. If you are ordering oversize, large or extra large items to be shipped to remote areas, there will be an additional charge of 5% (oversize items - 7.5%+5%, large items - 12.5%+5%, extra large items - 17.5%+5%).
If an item that you have selected has such a fee, you will see the oversize icon appear on that item's detail page. Oversize amounts are calculated separately from shipping however, should you decide to return an oversized item, you will not receive a credit for the oversize fee.
If you are shipping to an address with one of the following postal codes, the address is considered remote.
Standard Freight is door to door only. Inside delivery is available and must be requested when you place your order. If there is a specific room number you would like your order delivered to, or if your classroom is difficult to reach or accessible only by stairs, please notify our customer service department at the time your order is placed. An additional charge may be added to your freight bill by the carrier for delivery beyond your front door. Upon request, we would be pleased to quote you the additional freight charges. If you want your order to ship prior to being 100% complete there may be additional freight charges.
Drop Ship items are shipped directly from the supplier. A detailed information box will appear and will require your understanding of the shipping details, including delivery time, for the item you are ordering. You must click “OK” to acknowledge that this is understood before allowing the item to be added to your shopping basket.
In some cases, large orders or orders with unusual shaped products may be shipped in two or more boxes (at no additional charge). These boxes may arrive on different days within the allotted time frame. You will receive a shipment confirmation containing a unique tracking number for each box. If you want your order to ship prior to being 100% complete there may be additional freight charges.
If the standard shipping method is selected at checkout, in stock orders are shipped from our warehouse next business day via Canada Post in Canada, and USPS in the United States.
Express shipments in Canada are sent using courier ground service. We are sorry that we cannot offer the express shipping option to orders that are shipping to a P.O. Box address.
Beyond Point Orders
Freight charges cover ground transportation only as serviced by a licensed carrier. Ice roads, rail, barge, sealifts, ferries or air transportation are the responsibility of the customer.
Return & Exchanges
We guarantee the quality of our merchandise for at least one year, under conditions of normal use. Normal use being defined as wear and tear incurred while the merchandise was being used for it's intended purposes. We will replace or exchange for credit any product that does not perform to your satisfaction.
Within 30 days from original date of purchase, unused items may be returned for credit, exchange or refund, less shipping fees. Resource book spines must be in tact and all other product in a re-saleable condition. Contact Customer Service for a return authorization.
Our Member purchase tracking system allows our Members to return items without a receipt, and will be extended an additional 30 days from date of purchase for a grace period of 60 days. Please contact Customer Service for a return authorization. Orders placed on scholarschoice.ca can not be returned to a retail store. All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for returns or credit.
A note about e-Books: Due to the nature of the product, all e-Book orders are final sale. e-Books are an electronic file and cannot be retrieved once they are sent to your computer.
Returns of Web Orders
All returns will be processed in the manner in which they were paid, Credit Card, Gift Card, or PayPal.

When contacting Customer Service, please be ready to provide the order number so we may process your request quickly. Unauthorized returns (returns that are a result of a customer ordering error) and truck items are subject to return freight charges and a 15% restocking fee. Orders that are cancelled after products have been shipped are also subject to return freight charges and a 15% restocking fee.
